OUTSTANDING YOUNG SCIENTISTS AWARDED WITH SCHOLARSHIPS BY THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION

Ewelina Celińska, Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology and Food Microbiology (Faculty of Food Sciences and Nutrition) earned a very high 4^th rank. Michał Tomasz Kwiatek, Ph.D. in engineering, until recently an employee of the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, employed from this October 1 in the Department of Plant Genetics and Breeding at the Faculty of Agriculture and Bioengineering, was ranked 75^th. Ewa Barbara Sell-Kubiak, Ph.D. in engineering, from the Department of Genetics and Basics of Animal Breeding, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, was ranked 77^th. Wojciech Czekała, Ph.D. in engineering, from the Biosystems Engineering Institute, Faculty of Agriculture and Bioengineering, was ranked 159^th.

The scholarships were applied for by Polish universities and scientific institutes.
